Less well-known than other wines from this region, it is a typical Pauillac at a reasonable price. Average 40-year-old vines grow on gravelly soil. Grand Puy Lacoste is concentrated and masculine - but not rustic. Carefully selected, with the power of a Pauillac yet exemplarily balanced with great finesse, fruit, and velvety texture. A sensual wine that ages exceptionally well.
