First mentioned in writing in 1147, Château Cantemerle has a turbulent history. At the 1855 World's Fair in Paris, the Château received the Cinquième Cru Classé classification. From 1960 to the present day, impressive wines have been produced: straightforward, very focused, fruity (blackcurrant), concise with remarkable finesse and delicacy.
