The Maldant Pauvelot Collection Corton Renard is a Grand Cru that lives up to its name, with perfectly controlled vinification. The vines thrive on the Corton hill, providing the Pinot Noir with the foundation for its full development.
An aromatic bouquet unfolds with fruity and subtly spicy notes.
DESCRIPTION
The 2017 Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Collection Corton Renard Grand Cru offers a sensory experience you won't soon forget.
The bouquet exudes inspiring aromas of juicy Morello cherries, pickled forest berries, and velvety acacia honey. Matured in barrique barrels, hints of vanilla, tropical woods, sandalwood, and a touch of coconut husk come to the fore.
DEVELOPMENT
Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration under carbon dioxide to protect the aromas and colors. Matured for 16 months in oak barrels.
TASTING
On the palate, the Burgundy is wonderfully full-bodied and intense with a dense structure.
Impressive notes of liquorice and white tobacco emerge. A true cinematic masterpiece with an endlessly long credit roll!
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 13-18 °C with Hare "à la Royale" or Bourgogne cheese
