Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own Chateau Miraval. The Perrin family of winemakers lends its name to the wine production.
From the best parcels of the Chateau (Muriers, Longue, Romarin) as well as from a selection of vineyards in the best locations of Provence.
The clay and limestone soils, some of which are terraced vineyards at an altitude of 350 meters, give this rosé a special touch.
Here, the climate is cool for the region, with large temperature fluctuations between day and night.
The Miraval Rosé 2017 perfectly interprets this vintage in Provence.
Color and Taste:
Beautiful pale pink of rose petals, elegant with a glistening shimmer. This rosé captivates with its abundance of aromas, with notes of fresh fruits and spring flowers, as well as its freshness, minerality, and a slightly salty finish.
Winemaking:
The grapes are harvested exclusively in the morning and sorted twice before destemming.
Direct pressing of Cinsault, Grenache, and Rolle. Syrah is partially vinified using the Saignée method.
Aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (95%) and in barrels (5%) with bâtonnage.
Serving suggestion:
This special rosé is ideal as an aperitif, with fish, antipasti, and light dishes.
