The red wine from Château Langoa Barton is a Saint Julien, consisting of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2018 vintage. Precise and delicious, similar to the 2010 vintage and thus a very great vintage.
Taste:
The 2018 Château Langoa Barton has a rich purple-red color. The palate shows balance with fine tannins. The Langoa Barton 2018 thus develops intense fruity aromas, highlighted by a very pleasant freshness.
Production:
Château Langoa Barton 2018 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 21-28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and ages for 18-20 months in 60% new French oak before bottling.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
