2018 Gérard Bertrand Heritage 560 Tautavel
Description: 560,000 years ago, our ancestors already lived in Tautavel. Archaeologists also discovered the existence of grapevines through pollen analysis. Today's vineyards grow on limestone-rich terraces facing southeast. Tautavel convinces with supple tannins and delicate notes of raspberries and spices.
Serving suggestion: Serve at 15-16°C with roasted or grilled meat, chicken tagine or aged cheese
Color: deep, bright red.
Aroma: Aromas of black fruits, licorice, truffle and black olive.
Taste: powerful, voluminous, dense and firm structure, so fresh, elegant and silky tannins, meaty and spicy.
