The 2019 Gruaud Larose is an expressive and fresh wine. It develops very well in the bottle.

Color:
Vibrant, brilliant red with shimmering reflections.

Nose:
In the glass, it exudes aromas of wild berries and plums, mingling with notes of licorice, potpourri, pencil shavings, and subtle earthy undertones.

Taste:
On the finish, it is medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless, with powdery tannins and juicy acidity; it is remarkably smooth and refined for a wine of obvious breadth. Concentration and power unite in this excellent wine.

Grape varieties:
Cabernet Sauvignon (72%), Cabernet Franc (3%), Merlot (25%).

Serving suggestion:
Ideal with game, lamb, grilled meats, spicy poultry, and cheese.
