2019 Château Pape Clément Magnum 1.5L AOP Pessac-Léognan
Taste:
A wine of good density, ruby red, with brown, mahogany, and biscuit-like reflections. It has retained its brilliance and clarity. The rim is quite thick. The tears are fine, clear, rich, and regular. At once expressive, direct, and complex. Notes from all fragrance families: fruits, flowers, and spices. The taste: The attack is direct, the tasting notes are round and gentle, even soothing. The intense aromas initially recall the complexity of the nose. One discerns leather and slightly charred wood, as well as toasted notes. The beauty of the vintage lies more in its elegance than in its full flavor. The wine has an attractive aromatic palette with a finish of remarkable elegance.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
The wine consists of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc.
