The vineyards are located on loamy-gravelly hilltops resting on a calcareous subsoil. The harvest took place from September 21 to October 9, 2019. Château Potensac 2019 is a great classic and elegant Bordeaux wine.

Taste:
The 2019 Château Potensac has a bright garnet red color with violet reflections. This complex wine reveals notes of cinnamon and licorice in a fresh bouquet of black berry fruit, a hint of heart cherries and nuances of fine wood. On the palate, the Potensac 2019 expresses a beautiful tannin structure that extends into an elegant finish.

Production:
Château Potensac 2019 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 25-28 days in a classic manner in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and ages for up to 18 months in new French oak before bottling.

Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
