DESCRIPTION
The 2019 Hospices de Beaujeu captivates the palate with soft tannins, ripe fruit aromas, and a generous finish.
A delicacy with good aging potential.
DEVELOPMENT
Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks over a period of approx. 3 weeks. Pre-fermentation cold maceration at approx. 8 °C. Aging in vats for 8 to 16 months with malolactic fermentation.
TASTING
The 2019 Hospices de Beaujeu impresses on the palate with minerality, which brings a lot of character.
Ripe tannins provide pleasant support overall. Good aging potential.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 14-15 °C with grilled meat or in sauces such as Coq au Vin, Lamb Blanquette or Beef Stroganoff.
