Climate/Terroir:
Studio by Miraval comes from plots above the French Riviera, surrounded by olive trees and pine trees. They influence this cuvée together with the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. The salty soils also give it a unique character with an almost iodized finish.
Vinification:
All the grapes are vinified by direct pressing. The Cinsault and Tibouren grape varieties are fermented in stainless steel tanks, while Grenache and Rolle are partially aged in concrete eggs with a curved base. In these egg-shaped containers, the wine circulates naturally, so that the fine lees remain constantly in suspension, similar to bâtonnage. The resulting wines impress with a special fullness and creaminess.
Color: Very pale pink color
Nose: Aromas of fresh fruit and citrus fruits on the nose.
Palate: Powerful with notes of citrus fruits and white flowers. Slightly salty finish.
Recommendation: This special rosé is ideal as an aperitif, with fish, antipasti and light dishes.
