Château de Beaucastel's red wine has long been treasured as one of France's great wines. It is known for its elegance, balance, and aging potential. Château de Beaucastel boasts an exceptional terroir on the northern border of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. The vineyards are extremely exposed to the wind; buffeted by the Mistral, there are almost never any problems with rot.

Taste:
Wonderful, dark, intensely ruby red color. Typical for Beaucastel, the wine on the nose is rich and complex, yet also wonderfully fresh, with an opulent aromatic bouquet dominated by notes of fresh fruit and spices. Lush, round, extremely silky on the palate, this wonderfully dense, well-structured wine reveals great elegance, very fine tannins, and delicious aromas of fresh red fruits, redcurrant, and noble spices. The finish is beautifully long, full-bodied, and harmonious. A fruit-driven vintage with very good aging potential.

Production:
Château de Beaucastel is a Chateauneuf-du-Pape composed of the 2020 vintage's Cinsault, Counoise, Grenache, Mourvedre, Muscardin, Syrah, Terre Noir, and Vaccarese grape varieties. Château de Beaucastel 2020 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted.
All grape varieties are vinified separately here; the grapes are 100 percent destemmed. The complex cuvée matures in oak barrels for one year until bottling.
