Château Gloria is the "youngest wine château in the Médoc" and was founded in 1939 by Henri Martin, born in 1903. With 6,000 vines on one plot, he laid the foundation for the winery, which now covers 54 hectares and has been run by his daughter Françoise and her husband since his death in 1991. Gloria is not classified, but has always delivered excellent quality at Classé level. Saint-Julien wines are generally characterized by their excellent harmony and great finesse.
The 2020 vintage of Château Gloria consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petit Verdot

Intense red with violet reflections
Nose:
Aromas of blackcurrant, plum and cherry are complemented by a fresh mint note and a hint of cinnamon.
Palate:
A very lively and supple tension with a wonderfully spicy freshness on the finish.
Description:
Château Gloria produces wine with an inviting character. The balanced fruit and restrained tannins make it accessible even in its youth, even if it is still a little reserved at that stage.
Development:
Made from a selection of the best grapes, strictly hand-picked and under careful quality control. The 2020 Château Gloria, St. Julien Cru Bourgeois was aged in oak barrels.

Serving suggestion:
Serve at 16-18 °C with game dishes, beef goulash, red meat and strong cheeses.
