2020 Chateau La Croix du Casse - France

The Château La Croix du Casse vineyard is located on the southern edge of the Pomerol plateau, on a terroir of gravel, sand layers and iron veins. The winery was acquired by the Castéja family in 2005. Since then, Philippe Castéja has invested in modernizing this château and has done a lot of work in the vineyard as well as in the cellars and vat rooms. Château La Croix du Casse is charming and seductive, fine and elegant, with a balanced palate of fruit and velvety tannins.

Taste:
The bouquet is characterized by floral notes. Scents of iris and blackberries. Elegant character on the palate. The tannins are slightly grainy and in harmony with the acid structure.
