Description:
This German Pinot Gris from Baden impresses with its powerfully fragrant bouquet of red apples and juicy vineyard peaches, making it an excellent choice, especially for lovers of strong and fruity wines. The fruity and ripe vine presents itself full-bodied with a delicate creaminess, and the pronounced fruit lingers beautifully on the palate. This white wine is best enjoyed lightly chilled at 8-12 degrees. The intense yellow color and golden reflections that the wine shows in the glass also visually complement the experience. An excellent drinking pleasure.

Terroir/Climate:
The fertile cultivation area in the Upper Rhine Plain offers excellent conditions for viticulture. Protected from harsh east winds by the Black Forest massif on one side and the Vosges on the other, the climate here is almost Mediterranean. The volcanic rock in the soil, covered with a loess-loam layer, does the rest to provide an optimal home for the grapes grown here.
In the midst of this paradise for winemakers, on the southwest slope of the Kaiserstuhl, lies the municipality of Ihringen. Ihringen, with the district of Wasenweiler, is home to one of the largest local winegrowers' cooperatives and numerous other renowned wineries. We are a proud part of this unique wine-growing region and are delighted to bring you closer to the tradition and culture of our area with our wines.

Serving Suggestion:
Pairs particularly well with fatty blue cheese and desserts with honey, almonds, or marzipan.
