Terroir: Located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, above the village of Vosne-Romanée, the appellation boasts Burgundy's most fabulous red Grands Crus. The "Aux Brûlées" site is located on the heights of Vosne-Romanée, directly above the Richebourg parcel.
Winemaking: Traditional winemaking in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks over a period of 3 weeks: cold maceration before fermentation at approx. 8° C. Punching down and pumping over to extract color and structure. Fermentation with a peak temperature around 30° C. Maceration at 25° C after fermentation. Aging in oak barrels between 8 and 16 months with malolactic fermentation. 50% new oak barrels.
