2022 Victor Bérard Châteauneuf du Pape AOP Rouge

The Victor Berard Chateauneuf Du Pape is a beautiful, almost regal French red wine from the Rhône Valley. It is sultry, powerful, robust, and has integrated tannins. On the nose, you primarily detect spiciness with black fruits and a hint of gingerbread. On the palate, you mainly encounter sultry black fruits. Both on the nose and in the aftertaste, this wine is slightly smoky.

This dry red wine is characterized by a dark, garnet red color, a bouquet of small red berries and spices, and a rich, rounded, full flavor. It pairs excellently with game, duck, guinea fowl, pigeon, dishes like osso bucco and eggplant pie. A wonderful companion to strong cheeses.

Color: Dark garnet red.
Nose: Bouquet of red berries accompanied by spicy notes.
Palate: Rich, round, and full-bodied, very persistent.

Recommendations: Pairs excellently with game, duck, guinea fowl, pigeon, dishes like osso bucco and eggplant pie. A wonderful companion to strong cheeses.
