2023 Terrazas De Los Andes Chardonnay

In a magical place where the earth meets the sky, our passionate team cultivates a stunning mosaic of over 200 high-altitude parcels. Thanks to the fruit from these heights, sustainably irrigated with pure glacial water, our wines reflect the pure, fresh taste of the Andes. Our bright, fresh, and fruity Chardonnay is an assemblage of over ten parcels from three organically farmed, high-altitude vineyards. It is characterized by fruity notes of peach, pear, and grapefruit, as well as a long finish with subtle brioche.

Blend and Origin:

Although this vintage displayed excellent quality, 2023 was marked by several heatwaves. The challenging weather conditions led to a shorter harvest period compared to previous years. After pressing and fermentation, the wine was aged for eight months in oak barrels before being stabilized and bottled. The result is a very aromatic Chardonnay with a high concentration of tannins.

Color: Bright yellow with green reflections.

Aroma: Fresh and aromatic on the nose, with aromas of white fruits and citrus and subtle notes of tropical fruits, underpinned by hints of brioche and toasted nuts.

Taste: Its vibrancy in the mouth reflects the early and fresh harvest; on the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth at the same time, with remarkable acidity.

Serving Suggestion: As an appetizer paired with various cheeses such as Camembert and Brie. As a main course served with grilled fish, pasta with butter or cream sauce, as well as Thai dishes. Also ideal with fruity desserts – fresh fruits such as apple, pineapple, orange, or lime.
