2023 Villa Antinori Rosso, Tuscany Italy, (0.75 L) Dry Red Wine

This Rosso showcases Antinori's characteristic elegance: ruby red, with notes of berries, cherries, and plums, as well as a delicate hint of wood and soft tannins. Matured for 12 months in barrique and 6 months in the bottle, it sets stylistic accents without concealing its Tuscan character.

Villa Antinori 2023 presents a ruby red color. On the nose, it is intense and complex, characterized by fruity notes of sour cherry and plum with hints of boxwood, mint, and black pepper. On the palate, it shows a medium body and is round with soft delicate tannins that carry a long and flavorful finish.

Serving suggestion:
A great accompaniment to meat dishes such as lamb, game, or braised, roasted, or grilled beef. If serving with cheese, it should be spicy and mature.

Winemaking:
After the manual harvest of the grapes, which took place between the end of September and the first days of October, the grapes were gently pressed and the must was transferred to steel tanks where fermentation took place. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, then refines in oak barrels and in the bottle, thus perfecting its special characteristics.
