2023 Pinot Blanc dry white wine • GLATT • Quality wine from Kaiserstuhl/Baden, Germany

This German Pinot Blanc white wine (Italian: Pinot Bianco, French: Pinot Blanc) from Kaiserstuhl in the Baden wine region impresses lovers of full-bodied dry wines with its fruity, piquant taste, its acidity of 6.0 g/l, and its long finish. Aromatic notes of pineapple and banana, as well as the wine's mineral structure, ensure an excellent drinking experience. The fruity, full-bodied grape appears balanced and full on the palate and is reminiscent of a note of quince and citrus fruits. This white wine is best enjoyed lightly chilled at 8-12 degrees. The clear, bright yellow color and the brilliance the wine displays in the glass also complement the impression visually.

Viticulture Notes:
The fertile growing region in the Upper Rhine Plain boasts excellent conditions for viticulture. Protected from harsh winds on both sides, by the Black Forest massif on one side and the Vosges on the other, there is an almost Mediterranean climate here.
The volcanic rock in the soil, covered with a loess-loam layer, does its part to provide an optimal home for the grapes grown here.
In the middle of this paradise for winegrowers lies the municipality of Ihringen on the southwest slope of the Kaiserstuhl. Ihringen, with its district of Wasenweiler, is home to one of the largest local winegrowers' cooperatives and numerous other renowned wineries. We are a proud part of this unique winegrowing region and are delighted to bring you a piece of our region's tradition and culture with our wines.

Serving suggestion:
Enjoy this fruity and delicate wine with lightly aromatic dishes such as fish, seafood, salads, and potato dishes – or simply on its own and lightly chilled.
