DESCRIPTION The Bourgogne Gamay is one of the ten Beaujolais Crus. Rich and powerful fruity aroma, with a prevalence of stone fruits.
DEVELOPMENT Traditional winemaking. The grapes are fermented for 8-10 days in open tanks and then pressed. The wine is quickly decanted, filtered, and bottled to preserve all the rich aromas.
TASTING The 2024 Hospices de Beaujeu is full-bodied and captivates with its intense fruity bouquet in beautiful balance with minerality. Its tannic body has a very interesting potential.
SERVING SUGGESTION Serve at 14-18 °C with winemaker's salad, pork with prunes, blackcurrant cake.
