An organic Sauvignon Blanc from the heart of Chile – from the Torres winemaking family, with the declared aim of preserving the country's natural character and biodiversity.
Taste
Colour: Pale yellow with delicate greenish highlights.
Nose: Fresh and aromatic – tropical fruit and citrus, especially grapefruit, come clearly to the fore, accompanied by grassy, herbal notes.
Palate: Dry, with noticeable, lively acidity and a light to medium body – elegant and intense at the same time, without the typical sharpness of some New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.
Production
The grapes come from the Valle de Curicó in Chile's Valle Central and are grown according to certified organic principles – with the aim of leaving the local ecosystems as untouched as possible. After destemming and a short cold maceration, the wine matures entirely without the use of oak, in order to preserve its pure varietal character and freshness.
Pairs with
Green salads, herb chicken or lightly grilled fish – a classic, versatile partner for food.
