Description:
Assemblage of the 2014 vintage: 61% Pinot Noir, 39% Chardonnay from 19 crus: mainly Aÿ and Verzenay for the Pinot Noir, Chouilly and Oiry for the Chardonnay. Exclusive use of the cuvée. Fully fermented in old oak barrels.
COLOR:
With golden reflections, reflecting the wine's maturity and Bollinger's winemaking.
AROMA:
A precise and fruity bouquet with a light scent of sea air. Aromas of cherry and lemon mingle with quince and bergamot. Then notes of hazelnut and almond, peach and mirabelle plum complete the aromatic spectrum of this Champagne.
TASTE:
The first impression is a fine and intense effervescence, followed by a wonderful juiciness balanced by a delicate acidity. The very fine texture and the sea air on the finish bring excellent length on the palate, accompanied by a delicate minerality and complex aromas of fruit and citrus. This Champagne gradually unfolds, revealing its full potential and intensity.
