PN VZ 19 is made for wine lovers who are looking for very different expressions of Pinot Noir from Champagne. The PN VZ19 is ready for immediate enjoyment or can be aged in the cellar for a longer period. We recommend serving the PN VZ19 at a temperature between 10 and 11°C to fully enjoy its unique style and elegant aromas.
PN VZ 19 is an assemblage of 100% Pinot Noir, predominantly from Blanc de Noirs. It is blended with other villages of the Montage de Reims, such as Tauxières and Verzenay. The base year is 2018. There are also older wines from our reserve magnums, the oldest of which dates back to 2009.
Its aging period in the cellar is twice as long as the appellation regulations require, and its dosage is moderate: 6 grams per liter.
Once again, the PN VZ19 is a celebration of the exceptional.
Color: Golden with bronze reflections
Nose: A very expressive, fruity bouquet with notes of orchard fruits, red and even exotic fruits. A symphony of delicate, ethereal scents, in which all aromas unite in perfect harmony.
Taste: On the palate, we taste all the fruitiness of the nose, which combines white fruits and citrus notes in a blend of Granny Smith acidity, fleshy vineyard peach and lively blood orange. A smooth, silky texture makes for an extremely elegant wine. A hint of salinity on the finish rounds off the complexity of this new edition.
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Serving suggestion: Pairs with scallop carpaccio with citrus quince and almond cake.
