- Origin
- Champagne, France
Laurent-Perrier rarely produces vintage champagnes. To ensure that the Brut Millésimé remains a unique and exceptional champagne, only the finest vintage years are used. The 2008 vintage was characterized by a cold but not icy winter and a gloomy and rainy spring. The harvest began in mid-September with dry and cool weather. The grapes, of excellent quality, presented a wonderful aromatic diversity, promising an outstanding vintage.
DESCRIPTION
The 2008 vintage is the result of selecting an exceptional year, from which only a selection of Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir plots were included in the composition. For the "Brut Millésime 2008" blend, only the best Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%) grapes from vineyards chosen by Laurent-Perrier are used. The maturation period in the cellars is approximately 9 years.
