Champagne Brut Vintage 2016 Magnum
Pol Roger is one of the most sought-after champagne brands in the world. And no wonder: the traditional family-run company produces Pol Roger champagne and, thanks to its high standards, belongs to the small circle of the world's best family wineries, the Primum Familiae Vini (PFV). Pol Roger's champagne varieties are unique. Their finesse, complexity, and fine perlage are the result of a demanding philosophy and its consistent implementation. There is a suitable champagne for everyone and every occasion: from non-vintage champagne (Brut, Extra-Brut, Demi-Sec) to vintage champagne (Brut, Blanc de Blancs) and the exceptional Champagne Winston Churchill.
The 2016 vintage Champagne Pol Roger Brut Vintage shimmers in the glass in a lovely golden yellow with silver reflections.
The elegant 2016 vintage was somewhat cooler and simply captivates with its taste of cashews, brioche and forest honey, cherry and blackcurrant.
Palate: On the palate, ginger and ripe pear, red citrus fruits, orange and mint. Always salty and refreshing, with a lingering lemony finish. Creamy-fine and deliciously elegant. A masterpiece of harmony.
Nose: The elegant nose initially presents fine aromas of light fruits and apricots. Later in the glass, this champagne exudes an enormous complexity of notes of white nectarines and quince jelly, mixed with brioche and pastry.
Serving temperature: 8-10 °C
