Italian artist Paola Paronetto is known for her creations made from Paperclay – clay mixed with paper, cardboard or cellulose – as well as for her deep understanding of color and its role in our emotions. She has translated this vision into Veuve Clicquot's famous La Grande Dame.

The gift box in the shade NOTTE is one of six colorful, textured, collectible gift boxes, each containing the excellent 2015 vintage and conveying the craftsmanship of Paola's Paperclay creations.

ASSEMBLY AND ORIGIN:
An exceptional Pinot vintage in an outstanding year. The 2015 season in Champagne was very warm, with low rainfall and plenty of sunshine, resulting in concentrated and structured wines. Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 is made from a thoughtful blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay grown in eight historic Grand Cru sites. The vineyards – Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Aÿ, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger – are among the most prestigious in the region.

Taste:
On the palate, more complex aromas emerge: dried apricot, hazelnuts, honey, and candied sugar. Silky textures lend personality, elegance, and character to the wine. The depth and power developed through aging.

Color: 
A beautiful, golden color with bright pearls.

Aroma: 
The nose first reveals notes of white flowers such as jasmine, honeysuckle, and vine flowers, followed by fruitier nuances of apple, pear, and peach. Some notes of freshly cut almonds and frangipane cream complete the bouquet.

Serving suggestions:
Serve La Grande Dame 2015 with seasonal, regional, and fresh produce, such as a salad with lobster carpaccio, citrus fruits, and garden squash, to perfectly highlight its elegance and freshness. Or try it with pea gnocchi with chervil sauce and green apple.
