Château De Camensac 2020 - Haut Medoc - Dry Red Wine
The style of Camensac wines is explained by the geographical location and the microclimate with mild winters and hot summers, which is also oceanic and promotes healthy growth and well-ripened grapes. Château De Camensac is a great classic and elegant Bordeaux wine. With the spirited 2020 vintage, Château de Camensac successfully joins the ranks of the Grand Cru Classé from the Haut-Médoc.
Color:
The 2020 Château De Camensac has a brilliant garnet red color with purple reflections.
Nose:
Very straightforward with notes of pralines and cocoa beans. After swirling, aromas of black pepper are added.
Palate:
On the palate, very harmonious with a beautiful structure and intensity with fruity aromas of blueberries with a hint of hazelnuts and chocolate.
Full-bodied with velvety tannins that guarantee a long finish.
Production:
Château De Camensac 2020 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 25-28 days classically in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in the barrel and matures for up to 18 months in new French oak before bottling.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
