Taste:
The 2012 Château Latour has a very deep garnet color. The nose develops slowly, revealing notes of pickled sour cherries, baked black currants, and blackberry compote. Additionally, nuances of Chinese spices and sandalwood, as well as subtle hints of cardamom and eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, delivering mouth-filling black and red fruit jam with a firm, grainy structure and fantastic freshness, culminating in a true fireworks display of lingering spices and minerals.

Production:
Château Latour 2012 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 21-28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and matures for 14-16 months in French oak barrels before bottling.
