Daftmill Winter Batch Release 2008 is ready to launch. Double reason to celebrate: With 6,000 bottles, the farm distillery has bottled slightly more bottles than last time. The basis for the Lowland Single Malt is Optic barley, harvested by Francis Cuthbert in the southern fields of the farm in 2006. For the 12-year maturation period of the spirit distilled from it, the distillery selected 23 First Fill Bourbon Barrels. Connoisseurs can explore the complex aromas of this limited whisky at an ideal drinking strength of 46% vol.
