Nose: Initially, we are greeted by the sweetness of fresh vineyard peaches, followed by floral and perfumed notes, forest honey and vanilla; then come winey aromas, spices, and finally even a subtle meatiness and umami.
Palate: A rollercoaster ride for the taste buds: the intense sweetness of peach punch, malt candies with honey & herbs, and a generous portion of vanilla pudding spread over candied and dried fruits; then it becomes a little calmer again - gentle aromas of leather & sweet pipe tobacco alternate with spices and a hint of gravy.
Finish: long and warming, with lingering fruit and herbal notes and a pleasant dry oak spice.
CONCLUSION: A fruity and distinctive Speyside gentleman that enchants heart and palate!
