ASSEMBLAGE AND ORIGIN
After a year of unstable weather, the vineyards of Dom Pérignon produced exceptional grapes in 2012. The blend of fine, fresh Chardonnay, firm, fruity Pinot Noir, and elegant Meunier grapes created a wonderful vintage champagne that will age exceptionally well. In 2012, nature did its best to challenge the Maison Dom Pérignon. From frost and floods to heatwaves, the vineyards were exposed to a lot. Despite these difficult conditions, the September harvest yielded excellent, diverse, and balanced grapes, allowing the cellar masters to create an assemblage of great contrasts and complexity.
