ASSEMBLAGE AND ORIGIN
After a year of unstable weather, Dom Pérignon's vineyards produced exceptional grapes in 2012. The blend of fine, fresh Chardonnay, firm, fruity Pinot Noir, and elegant Meunier grapes resulted in a wonderful vintage champagne that will age exceptionally well. In 2012, nature did its best to challenge the Maison Dom Pérignon. From frost and floods to heatwaves, the vineyards faced a lot. Despite these difficult conditions, the September harvest produced excellent, diverse, and balanced grapes, allowing the cellar masters to create an assemblage of great contrasts and complexity.
