Dom Ruinart is the House's Vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne.
Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims sub-regions, this vintage is powerful, fruity and promising. Nine years in the Ruinart chalk cellars have mellowed its distinctive acidity, leaving it ideally rounded now.
Color:
Intense gold with a hint of green almond
Aroma:
Fruity with notes of lemon, apricot and peach. White flowers, fresh almond paste and candied orange peel indicate bottle maturation.
Taste:
Wonderfully balanced with lively perlage, silky acidity and a long, subtle finish.
Notes of stone fruit accompanied by a slight juiciness.
Food Pairings:
Excellent with rich dishes such as risotto with crème double and parmesan.
Dom Ruinart 2009 has enough structure to perfectly complement a hint of black truffle.
