Dom Ruinart is the House's Vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims sub-regions, this vintage is powerful, fruity, and promising. Nine years in the Ruinart chalk cellars have mellowed its distinctive acidity, leaving it ideally rounded now.
Color: Intense golden yellow with a hint of green almond
Aroma: Floral and fruity with notes of roasted nutmeg, hazelnuts, and almonds. Ripe citrus fruits indicate bottle aging.
Taste: Wonderfully balanced with lively effervescence, silky acidity, and a long, subtle finish. Notes of black tea and spices lead to a complex taste experience.
Serving suggestions: Excellent with rich meat dishes, fresh fish platters, and dishes such as risotto with crème double and parmesan. Dom Ruinart 2010 has enough structure to perfectly complement a hint of black truffle.
