Dom Ruinart is the House's Vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims sub-regions, this vintage is powerful, fruity, and promising. Nine years in the Ruinart chalk cellars have softened its distinctive acidity, leaving it now ideally rounded.
Taste:
The Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 presents an intense golden color with a hint of green almond. Fruity with notes of lemon, apricot, and peach. White flowers, fresh almond paste, and candied orange peel indicate bottle aging. Wonderfully balanced with lively perlage, silky acidity, and a long, subtle finish. Notes of stone fruit with the freshness of citrus are accompanied by a slight juiciness.
Serving Suggestions:
Excellent with rich dishes such as risotto with crème double and parmesan. Dom Ruinart 2010 has enough structure to perfectly complement a touch of black truffle.
