Bottled just in time for the German Rum Fest, one colleague is particularly looking forward to this Belize Single Cask. None other than our dear colleague Jürgen 'Mr. Tiki' Wiese selected this cask for the Flensburg Rum Company. He was very impressed 2.5 years ago but was certain that this cask still had more potential. Now, after what felt like an eternity, the rum from the Travellers Distillery is exactly as Jürgen had wished: aromatic, well-rounded, and powerful. Despite its intense 68.5% Vol., the alcohol is wonderfully integrated. Coffee and cocoa combine with a light hint of vanilla. The coconut aromas typical of Belize recede slightly into the background in this single cask.
