This Glenlossie 2008/2023 - Speyside Malt was blended from three carefully selected casks and gained a unique touch from a 12-month finish in Pedro Ximenez casks.
The nose combines rose fragrance and dried plums with distinct woody and balsamic notes of sawmill and resin.
On the palate, the whisky initially presents itself as rich, viscous, and juicy, with intense aromas of cooked brown sugar, toffee, and dark chocolate. A slightly tarry note adds additional complexity. The woody character increases particularly towards the end, especially without the addition of water.
