Nose: A very fragrant whisky of robust strength, with notes of baked apples, pears, vanilla, almonds, and a light waxy note. With a little water, some fragrant, floral notes emerge, such as narcissus, jasmine, and heather honey, followed by aromas of sweet pastry.
Palate: Oily and spicy at the same time, leading to a richness of sweet aromas. Notes of baked pears, candied apples, marzipan, star anise, and praline come together with a hint of lemon balm, eucalyptus, and a touch of charcoal.
Finish: Long, lingering, and almost slightly cooling.
