A TALE OF TOKYO
Nose: Intense herbs, with some toffee and frankincense contrasted with saddle soap, followed by a
resinous note and a hint of cedarwood.
Palate: Peppery taste evolving into notes of zesty orange and bitter cherries alongside
fennel and oak aromas.
Finish: Long and gently nutty, with some almond, tangerine, ground white pepper, and more wood resin.
Color: Bronze, like the rising sun
Maturation: in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. As the influence of this wood is incredibly complex and
unusual, it has been rounded off with Glenmorangie from bourbon and sherry casks.
