While the production of Scotland's northernmost grain distillery mostly ends up in the blend industry, single cask bottlings from INVERGORDON have always been a staple of many independent bottlers. For a long time, only much older grains were considered on par with single malts. However, with the recent "Grain Renaissance," the understanding of the quality and potential of grain whisky has changed significantly. Our 15-year-old bottling proves that even younger Single Grains from INVERGORDON can shine. Typical notes of rum raisins, mango, vanilla & coconut meet the fruity-spicy aroma diversity of the red wine barrique, rounded off by velvety chocolate, ginger and cinnamon.
