Cask Strength
The nose is sweet and smoky; the influence of peat smoke is evident in notes of toasted marshmallows and smoked ham. Over time, notes of dark chocolate and cloves develop.
On the palate, the coastal influence comes to the fore with notes of sea salt and fishing nets, along with a sweetness reminiscent of candied apples and toffee.
The sweet peat influence remains on the finish in the form of a burnt sugar note.
