ASSEMBLAGE AND ORIGIN
The 2014 season was an unsettled year for the weather in Champagne, fluctuating between hot and dry periods and cool, rainy periods. The vines developed well under these conditions, and the contrasting weather preserved freshness in the region. Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition is a blend of 195 wines from 12 different vintages, the youngest from 2014 and the oldest from 1998. The final composition consists of 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay, and 11% Meunier.
