Luce della Vite Brunello di Montalcino Luce 2019 LUCE BRUNELLO Of the 88 hectares of vineyards owned by Luce della Vite, 11 are registered in the Brunello di Montalcino directory. This is where the Sangiovese for Luce Brunello is produced, our homage to this sublime wine, which was born in Montalcino in the second half of the 19th century. It was the first in Italy to receive controlled and guaranteed designation of origin recognition in 1980, and today it is one of the most representative of the excellent wines produced in Italy. Luce Brunello di Montalcino thus continues a path of the highest quality, inspired by the uniqueness of the appellation and the great wines born here.
Colour: Intense, sparkling ruby red with a slight shimmer
Nose: The nose immediately reveals its elegance and complexity, with aromas of kirsch, violets and tertiary notes of tobacco, black olives and undergrowth
Palate: On the palate, the wine is compact, creamy, supported by brilliant acidity with precise, round tannins that give the wine a long persistence.
Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese
Serving suggestion: This red wine from Italy, ideally served at 15 - 18°C, is a powerful accompaniment to dark meat, game and venison.
