This straw-coloured whisky has a beautiful balance of lemon meringue pie, vanilla ice cream, and gentle Islay peat smoke on the nose.
On the palate, the soft, creamy citrus continues, then is slowly overtaken by leathery, ashy notes and a charming frankincense/sandalwood quality.
The finish is long, complex, and captivating with its interplay of soft smoke and fruity notes.
