Its base: grade A Guatemalan molasses, produced in a facility that ensures a commitment to the environment and to the standards of sugarcane workers. Extensively fermented for 6 days at cool temperatures, it was distilled twice in a pot still, and the aromatic result was entrusted to the cask magic of a First Use American Oak Cask. After 4 years and 9 months of maturation in the maritime climate of Massachusetts, Yankee was bottled at a full-bodied 55.7% vol. into 216 of Privateer's vintage-look bottles.
