This pure Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Brut 2015 Champagne is a reflection of the expertise of Louis Roederer. This Champagne draws its unique power from the chalky soils, which give it a mineral freshness. As it matures, the power and character of the great "La Côte" vineyards in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, from which it originated, reveal themselves.
Taste:
Intense pearls permeate the brilliant, golden-yellow Blanc de Blancs Brut Vintage in the glass. Clear, exceptionally mineral bouquet with notes of citrus fruits, aromas of white, vanilla-scented blossoms, and harvest aromas (almonds, grain). Creamy on the palate, yet concentrated and delicate. A ripe, densely concentrated wine with a powdery texture, the finish is aromatically clear, refreshing, and very palatable.
Production:
The 2015 Blanc de Blancs vintage champagne from Louis Roederer is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is aged on lees for an average of 5 years. After disgorgement, the wine rests for at least 6 months to achieve its maturity. This Blanc de Blancs is supported by the saline freshness of its chalky soils.
Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy chilled at 8-10°C. The freshness of this Roederer Blanc de Blancs Vintage is excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood, fish, and spicy cheese.
