At Louis Roederer, Brut Premier is created from the finest wines of six different vintages, some of which come from Louis Roederer's collection of reserve wines aged for several years in oak barrels. The Carte Blanche reflects the great tradition of the House of Roederer in producing famous champagnes.
Taste:
Fine bubbles permeate the luminous, pale yellow Brut Premier in the glass. The bouquet is fruity with a delicately spicy scent of peaches, apples, grapefruit, and fresh brioche. On the palate, it is round and stylish with elegantly ripe fruitiness, lively acidity, and a flattering structure.
Production:
The blend of 3 grape varieties and 40 different crus from Champagne, some of which come from Louis Roederer's reserve wines, matures for an average of 3 years in the cellars of the house. After disgorging, it rests for another six months to achieve its perfect ripeness. Its texture is distinct and creamy, contrasting with its freshness.
Serving suggestion:
Enjoy chilled at 8-10°C. The freshness of this Roederer Brut Premier is excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish and white meat.
