Briem Roséli Alkoholfrei 2024 (0.25l) – Maximum Freshness Without Alcohol in a Compact Format

The Briem Roséli Alkoholfrei 2024 is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to enjoy the Kaiserstuhl way of life without sacrificing taste, yet entirely carefree. In the handy 0.25l bottle, this alcohol-free alternative is the perfect companion for picnics or the lunch break, or a zesty aperitif for those moments in between. With a residual alcohol content of under 0.5% vol., this Roséli retains the aromatic framework and the typical berry fruit of Ihringen's volcanic vineyards. Anyone who wants to buy a high-quality alcohol-free wine alternative that combines artisanal precision with state-of-the-art dealcoholisation technology will find a true taste highlight in this “quarter-litre”.

The Philosophy: Gentle Dealcoholisation for Full Aroma

The challenge with alcohol-free drinks is preserving the volatile aromas. For this, Weingut Briem uses the innovative process of vacuum rectification. In this process, the alcohol is removed from the wine at very low temperatures (approx. 30 °C). As the boiling point drops dramatically in a vacuum, the delicate fruit aromas are not “boiled off” but are retained in the drink. In accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 (LMIV), this small bottle also offers full transparency on nutritional values and ingredients – for enjoyment with a clear conscience and full focus on the fruit.

Sensory Analysis

The analysis of the Briem Roséli Alkoholfrei 2024 reveals a profile that impresses with liveliness and a clear, unadulterated definition of fruit.

  • Colour: In the glass, the drink shows a brilliant, luminous salmon pink with silver reflections, which visually mirrors the freshness of a classic rosé to perfection.

  • Aromatics (nose): The nose is dominated by layers of zesty primary aromas:

    • Fruit: Intense notes of fresh wild strawberries, redcurrants and a hint of pink grapefruit.

    • Floral accents: Subtle nuances of rosehip blossom and fresh meadow herbs.

  • Mouthfeel: Since there is no alcohol to provide body, the texture is supported by a fine natural residual sweetness. The mouthfeel is clean, clear and immensely refreshing.

  • Acidity & balance: The acidity is very well integrated and provides a stable backbone that perfectly counters the fruit sweetness and guarantees great drinkability.

  • Finish: The aftertaste is clean, fruit-driven and ends on a delicate, mineral freshness.

Origin & Production

Selected wines from the Kaiserstuhl, vinified specifically for the dealcoholisation process, form the basis of this alcohol-free Roséli.

Terroir and Base Wine

The grapes grow on the typical weathered volcanic soils with a loess covering in Ihringen. For the alcohol-free edition, wines are chosen that naturally possess powerful primary fruit, as these withstand the vacuum process best. Baden's intense sunshine provides the necessary aromatic ripeness, which serves as a stable flavour foundation in the alcohol-free end product.

Flexibility in Enjoyment

The 0.25l bottle is the answer to the modern lifestyle: it offers exactly the right amount for one or two glasses, without having to open a large bottle. Ideal for drivers, athletes or health-conscious connoisseurs.

Food Pairing & Service

The Briem Roséli Alkoholfrei 2024 is a versatile partner for carefree, modern cuisine.

  • Specific dishes: An excellent companion to light summer salads, vegetarian sushi or fresh fruit desserts. Thanks to its slight sweetness, it is also a brilliant counterpart to spicy Asian dishes.

  • Vegetarian alternative: Melon with mint or burrata with tomatoes and basil.

  • Serving temperature: Ideally served ice-cold at 6–8 °C.

  • Glassware: Can be enjoyed straight from the chilled bottle or from a white wine glass.
