Ruinart Rosé combines over 250 years of expertise from the world's oldest Champagne house, Ruinart, founded in 1729. This luxurious Champagne captivates with its salmon-pink color, fine perlage, and a bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, and rose petals. The balance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, including a portion vinified as red wine, gives it a smooth, fruity character with nuances of cherries, mint, and mild spice.
Blend and Origin:
The elegance of Ruinart Rosé comes from the marriage of the grapes that define Ruinart's style: Chardonnay (45%, from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims) with Pinot Noir (55%, from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne). The grapes are primarily sourced from Premier Cru vineyards. 20–25% of the blend consists of reserve wines, and 18–19% of the total volume is Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, which gives the intensely golden-pink sparkling Champagne its heavenly fruit aroma.
Color:
Pomegranate-pink Champagne with light orange reflections and a fine, delicious perlage.
Aroma:
Subtle fruit aromas with a hint of cherry and notes of freshly picked red berries.
Taste:
Delightfully fresh on the palate, this Rosé unfolds a smooth, round, and silky structure with intense aromas of red fruits, mild spice, and a hint of mint.
Food Pairings:
Salmon sashimi or tuna tartare make the perfect start for this complex, full-bodied Rosé.
For the main course, the Rosé pairs equally well with a juicy piece of roast lamb – in miso marinade, of course, to stay true to the Japanese theme. The delicious freshness of the Champagne also excels with roast duck and a redcurrant reduction.
Serving Temperature:
8-10°C
